I wasn’t impressed by the Katana for its price point, and construction was rather shoddy. There are better headsets for the price range.

Mad Catz is supposed to be coming back… but the Triton is still effectively an orphaned product.

I’ve had this headset since its introduction and it far surpasses the hyper, astro, turtle beach’s that I’ve compared them to( I actually took my hyper x, x800 elite, and my a50s back to the store because they were garbage compared to these). The buttons are easily accessible unlike this reviewer says. The ear cups are more than big enough. I have an abnormally large head coming in at 9 5/8″ around and the headset sits comfortably and does NOT squeeze my head. The surround activation button above the left ear cup is easily accessed unlike the reviewer said and it’s a simple push button. All in all I’m very happy with purchasing these, though it sucks that Mad Katz/Tritton went out of business via bankruptcy, and no longer updating the headset line.

Plus on the wireless headsets on Xbox one, because how Microsoft have configurated the chat going through the controller, you can’t adjust independently the game volume from chat volume, and it’s quite an hassle for headset at this prices, and this is common to all wireless headset on Xbox one, even if they say otherwise..
