“There’s nothing like performing in front of a live audience” says Ina Feleo. Everyone who watches her on stage agrees we are all drawn in to their colorful world. It starts slowly with small movements. Every move of the hand and facial expression is a narrative that tells the story of our people, from the hinterlands Mindanao to the plains of Luzon.

She was on this very stage before at the CCP main theater accepting a Best Actress award in arguably the most prestigious fest in the country Cinemalaya. Now, she comes back as the Best Female Dancer Cheonan World Dance Festival held in Cheonan Samgeori Park,Cheonan Station Square, Ceinan Main Stadium, Korea as part of the Bayanihan Dance Troupe. Within a few drum beats, the movement is fast paced. They are all a swirl of color and still my own eyes follow her. That smile is so unmistakable it shines through a crowd of attractive and talented dancers in Bayanihan. There is no one like her. For everyone who knows Ina well; it’s as if her inner beauty is showing visually, through her dance, through her. She dances well in the choreography of life.
