Sick off the cuff Dunk by Pistons Rookie

I’ve been keeping my silence about my favorite NBA team the Pistons as far as this blog is concerned for the longest time.  Yes, Greg Monroe who was drafted 7th overall has potential. And we’re still crossing our fingers that Tracy McGrady will recover even just half of his scoring explosiveness in his peak.

Terrico White who was I think drafted 34th overall, wasn’t really expected to be the BIG news. And yet he clearly erased the likes of John Wall,  Wesley Johnson and Paul George–(all drafted ahead of him) in an impromptu dunk contest among rookies.

All he did was a 360 degree dunk after he put the ball between the legs.  It happens so fast it’s hard to believe the move is even possible. Before that he did a double pump-180. The clincher was when the other rookies whipped out their cell pones and started to shoot a video of Terrico in a bid to capture the unbelievable move.

Visit True blue Pistons blog by Keith Langlois for the full story. The link above  is for the Twitvid of the dunk.
