Hollywood TV reality stars Rob Kardashian and Kylie Jenner were at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel for their press launch for HUMAN last October 26, 2012. The two were chosen as brand ambassadors for the jeans line. They also walked the ramp for the HUMAN segment in Philippine Fashion Week.

Kylie Jenner liked her official residence so much she tweeted a photo from the view of her Shangri-La Hotel room. She also captioned the photo, “home for the next few days.” http://kendallandkylie.celebuzz.com/home-for-the-next-few-days-10-2012

“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” is one of the more popular reality shows being aired in 150 countries across the world. Kylie Jenner is the youngest of their family at 15 years old Rob is 25.

Their mom Kris was married 1978 to lawyer Robert Kardashian they later got divorced on 1990.  Older sisters Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and bother Robert were from Kris’ first husband who passed away in 2003.  Kris remarried in 1991 to Olympian Bruce Jenner and had Kendall and Kylie.

Both Kylie and Rob were asked about their fame and are excited with the prospects of endorsing HUMAN, “I would never have expected this. 5 years ago and now we’re here and it’s a really amazing experience. When we got the offer to come here, I jumped right on it. I was like YES!”

Rob has a strong Pinoy connection, “I have a lot of Filipino friends in L.A. and its pretty amazing to be here. We’re helping out HUMAN Jean and endorsing this company its pretty cool.”

The media was also curious as to why they thought the show was so popular. Rob said, “I just feel like we’re a very relatable family. We’re very real. We’re very honest, open. We don’t regret anything we do on or off camera. We’re just ourselves. That’s why we’ve been around for so long and people just relate to us. We’re a normal real family.”

Each of the six siblings now have their own admirers according to Kylie, “What I’ve noticed also is that people have favorites. My sister Khloe is a lot of people’s favorite. Other people relate to Kim others to Kourtney or my sister and I who are younger. People just relate we don’t hold back.  We’re comfortable with the crew because we’ve known them for 5 years going on 6 years now. That’s why we’re so comfortable.”

Rob was also pleasantly surprised with how fashionable Filipinos are, “Obviously the fashion world is crazy here. Definitely fashion forward here.”

His involvement with fashion has deepened with his own brands, “I started my own sock line (with Arthur George). And I’m also working with Neiman Marcus everywhere. I’m also working with my own clothing line right now.  I’m opening up a few of my own clothing stores in the U .S. and London. It’s pretty cool. It feels like we’re all getting into the fashion world right now.”

For Rob HUMAN came at a great time. His sisters are known to be admirers of high end fashion brands. And while he appreciates the quality of more expensive items he saw his own opportunity, “Obviously they’re not affordable for everybody. And I don’t agree with that. So I’m creating something I feel like HUMAN is exactly the same.”

Rob and Kylie fit very well with the Human DNA: young and stylish. At such a young age, they already gained fame. This is not just for their family name but also because of their own individuality especially when it comes to style, a value the brand is also known for.

For their launch, Human channels the fashion sense of the Japanese pop culture. Expect a lot of colors, a lot of layers, and a lot of texture when it comes to the fashion, the experience and the overall feel of the show. On the contrary, Human Black will have a mix of black and white optical-lined backdrop during its segment. Set at the Mall of Asia Atrium, the venue will have the J-pop feel with colorful blocks, lighting and props to fill the stage. Other than this, the two will be the newest endorsers for Human genes.
