Brace for an ultimate celebration of all things beer this October as Megaworld Lifestyle Malls in cooperation with Publiko Gastro Pub launches its first ever beer festival.

A ceremonial tapping of the beer keg held at the festival’s media launch last September 26 signified the start of the month long festivity, a unique grand celebration of all things beer that is atypical of the German Oktoberfest.

“Megaworld Lifestyle Malls Beer Festival is a differen kind of beer celebration altogether. Since this is our first time to do a festival of this kind, we made sure that whis will be big and loud. Big in terms of the number and varieties of beers to be offered andloud in terms of the kind of entertainment we are giving to our guests,” said Kevin L. Tan, Megaworld First VP and Commercial Division Head.

Beer connoisseurs, enthusiasts, partygoers and even those looking to chill off are all invited to discover and taste over 150 craft and imported beers from local brewers and from different parts of the world in a series of fantastic beer centered events, all happening on select dates from September 27 to October 25 at the Eastwood Central Plaza and the Venice Piazza at Mckinley Hill.

And making the whole Megaworld Lifestyle Malls Beer Festival experience even more mind blowing are today’s hottest bands recording artists and stand up comedians who will be heating up the party vibe with their music and free live performances.

No need to wait for October as the Eastwood City leg of the beer fest begins in a spectacular and star studded kick off party on September 27. No less than today’s most popular bands URBANDUB, PUPIL and UP DHARMA DOWN and music icon RICO BLANCO will be rocking the night out from 6pm to the wee hours.

On October 18 and 19 the Eastwood Central Plaza will be transformed into a huge Beer Tent. Guests can indulge in their favorite beers while having a hilarious time watching the show of stand up comedians from COMEDY CARTEL or head banging with the electrifying performances from rock groups KENYO and THE DAWN.

Eastwood City Beer Festival culminates in a spectacular Finale on October 25 where everyone can groove to the beat of live party music from DEUCE MANILA and DJs Funky Avy, Ace Ramos and Ron Poe along with celebrity host MC Pao.

For the whole month of October Thursdays are officially becoming Thirstdays in Eastwood City. Workaholics partyphiles have the chance to enjoy various promos from beer merchants along with free live performances by from rock bands and artists such as NEVER THE STRANGERS, SHEILA & THE INSECTS, TAKEN BY CARS, SHE’S ONLY 16, THE BLOOMFIELDS, TRICIA GARCIA and EBE DANCEL.
